RACE REPORT : First one of the year!
35th Annual Lower Providence was a splish splash bath but I'm ‘bout that life and having a larger women's field (yay!) made it worth it! Respect to all racers because we kept it super clean and crash free. Just a few bar bumps here and there for positioning and I was loving it.
For me- a couple critical mistakes with 3 laps to go put me out of the running for top spots but I'm pleased with how my fitness level showed up for me and that none of the mistakes I was making last year were repeated. Took 12th for the day.
LOW NOTE - I was warned not to get caught on the outside crosswind and I was all up in it at least twice when I should not have been.
HIGH NOTE - confident cornering/bike handling bought me position while saving watts which I am quite proud of.
Nothing changed but the weather baby, on to the next!
